The Offspring top 10 songs
The Offspring are an awesome Punk Rock band which was earlier called Maniac Subsidal. I get so irritated when my friends ask me time and again "Who is the offspring?"
1. You're Gonna Go Far Kid
It's an amazing charged song which will always be on replay
2. Come Out and Play
This song shows the freedom of punk rock because of the Arabic music interludes.
3. Cant get my head around you
I cant get my head around this song
4. Kristy, are you doing okay?
Shows another side of Dexter Holland as he apologises to a girl in High School who nobody (including
himself) didn't help, though they knew she was being abused.
5.The Kids Aren't Alright
An eerie song about the kids who lived on that street.
"How can one little street
Swallow so many lives"
6. Hammerhead
"Bang, banging hammers in my head"
7. Self Esteem
Terrific song.
8. Pretty Fly (for a white guy)
Rocker about wannabes
9. Hit that
The grooviest number by these guys
10.Original Prankster
Original Offspring song. As mischievous as the title suggests.

Top 10 Greenday songs
Greenday started a whole new era with their first album Dookie. They are one of those few bands who keep the fading punk subculture ALIVE !!! Billy Joe Armstrong according to me is one of the most talented songwriters after the greatly missed Kurt Cobain
1. Boulevard of Broken dreams
This one is simply unbeatable,
2. Holiday
Amazing song. Simply blows me away every time I listen to it. Talk about Greenday
"Pulverise the Eiffel tower
Who criticize your government!"
3. Know Your Enemy
Punk Rock to the core!!!
4.American Idiot
Its full of power and Tre just pulverises the drums
5. Wake me up
Don't be cheated by the docile beginning of this song, just wait till the electric guitars come in...
6. Basket Case
From the early days of these guys
7. Give me Novocaine
My mom didn't realise this was a 'song'. but all the trouble is totally worth listening to this one.
8. Good Riddance
Beatiful track this one. No reason for it come all the way to no. 8
9. 21 Guns
All time famous
10. East Jesus Nowhere
Slightly provocative but I used this one when my teacher asked for 'five new words'
(Sorry I couldn't link this one)
